Dr. Anisa Janmohamed – B.Sc., M.D., CCFP
Dr. Janmohamed attended Simon Fraser University on a full scholarship and graduated with a Bachelor of Science, Biology. She went on to study Medicine at the University of British Columbia where she was the recipient of numerous academic awards. She moved east to complete her residency in Family Medicine at Queen’s University, and during her training worked with a family practice in Cuba providing outreach services to patients in the community. Prior to joining MDDirect, she ran a successful family practice in Toronto for over a decade, and has devoted her career to patient care and advocacy. She works closely with her patients to educate and inform them, and ensure that they have an active voice in their care. Additionally, Dr. Janmohamed continues to work as a member of a surgical team with Courtesy Privileges at Toronto East General Hospital and Women’s College Hospital.
