Dr. Alexa Goodbaum – BHSc, MD, CCFP
Dr. Goodbaum grew up in Toronto and completed her undergraduate studies in Health Sciences at Western University, graduating with honours. She went on to earn her medical degree at the University of Ottawa, where she was recognized with a Faculty Award for Leadership. Following medical school, Dr. Goodbaum returned to Toronto to complete her Family Medicine residency training at North York General Hospital. Prior to joining MDDirect, she provided comprehensive care via an Academic Family Health Team in downtown Toronto. Dr. Goodbaum has always been passionate about health, wellness, and building meaningful connections with patients. She believes that collaborative, patient-centred care is essential to helping individuals achieve and maintain optimal health at every stage of life. Outside of medicine, Dr. Goodbaum enjoys travel, staying active through fitness, and spending quality time with her family.
