Dr. Katie Bies – MD CCFP
Born and raised in Toronto, Dr. Bies completed a dual undergraduate degree at Queen’s University, earning both a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences. Following this, she undertook her medical training at the University of Toronto and completed her residency in Family Medicine at Women’s College Hospital. Since then, she has worked in a variety of clinical settings, caring for patients in semi-remote communities as a member of the North Simcoe Family Health Team, and providing medical support within the Department of Surgery at Etobicoke General Hospital. Dr. Bies believes strongly in shared decision-making and is an outspoken advocate for her patients in helping them to achieve their wellness goals.
